Man this baby is cookin tonight. Already to Waterloo. They’ve changed the layout of the cars somewhat. Normally the car for Cuse or Elkhart is two cars behind the lounge car. This must be Amtrak’s new and improved system to be more efficient so that they can get the money the prez says he’s giving. I’ll say this much the guy up front is a hack. He’s jerkin this thing all over. He brings it in nice and easy then slams on the stop pedal for a bang bang bang.
It pretty much sucked leavin the kids and family tonight. I’m WHOA man we just ran over a BIG ass stick. Banged the shit outta the bottom of the coach. OK anyway, I’m glad to be going back home…home…here, there, everywhere, but they say home is where the heart is right? Man, my heart is all over this land of ours I guess. But in this case the home I’m talking about is Oswego.
I couldn’t have done any of this trip without my dad. And I wish there was a way to repay him. So many times it seems like mom and dad have come to my rescue, not because they feel sorry for me, but because they believe in me I guess. I don’t want to be a burden to anyone and I have a feeling that some think I am.
So yeah this engineer is a rookie hack. We are in Bryan, OH now. He coasts it in then BANG then he creeps forward BANG. Now we are backin up. He needs some more training….haha training get it? Ok yeah that one sucked.
Bryan, OH home of Spangler Candy Company owned by the same family that fielded a car for Dwayne or was it Duane Spangler. I think. Even if it wasn’t the same family it was a neat car. Black upright. I remember him coming to Kazoo.
So yeah. My luck. Cigarettes and booze have just been seated next to me. Just my luck. This is gonna be a long ride to The ‘Cuse. SCREW Amtrak and public transit. My eyes are actually burning from the stench. Uhggg.
