Buddy Cottom is a 23 year old small town acoustic singer/songwriter. Hes been playing for nearly 11 years and has about 60 original songs that he plays out frequently at bars, parties, or just out on the street. His Relate-able lyrics of life and love and catchy hooks are enjoyed by people of all walks of life.
The Great Pacific NW, Premier Band...O'Dark:30. The tunes are original, energizing, positive, uplifting, fun, diverse and, DANCABLE. They are versatile and humorous style is best described as "Americana"... a refreshing blend of musical influences ie: rock, funk, jazz, R/B, ska, folk, blues, country, Latin, reggae and more. The songs/lyrics and Classy, Rockin' tunes are appropriate for all ages and "walks of life".
Route 4's music is a melodic interpretation of the bands experiences in life and love. The recently recorded demo includes songs primarily written by Buddy Cottom like "Time Saves Us". Its catchy rhythm leading in to a very hooky time shifted chorus is exactly what to expect from them. All in all the hard driving beats of Steve Remp, intricate fluid bass lines of Eric Beal, accenting lead guitar by Kellen Bassette and flowing relatable Lyrics by Buddy Cottom make Route 4 a must listen experience.
Formed in 2008 long time friends Brian Mecca, Billy(BJ)Alnutt, and Dustin Garafolo decided to form a three piece rock and roll outfit. With less than a year under their belts they are already starting to gain an impressive following. Playing high energy rock mixed with original music this three piece delivers a well rounded sound.
